All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax) as of 1 May 2009.

The information that is collected by Ajays Catering Cuisine is used inhouse for ordering and delivery purposes.

Privacy Details

Ajays Catering Cuisine is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information we collect in relation to you is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on/sell/swap any of your personal details with anyone. We use this information to identify your orders, provide you with our monthly newsletter (if applicable) and to personalise your shopping experience with us; that's all. Ajays Catering Cuisine uses cookies to allow you to login to your account, maintain a shopping cart and to purchase items in your shopping cart.

Cookies sent to your computer from Ajays Catering Cuisine only last while you’re browsing our website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer. Cookies also allow us to give you a more personalised shopping experience by displaying products that interest you throughout our product pages, thus providing you with a more friendly, interesting and enjoyable shopping experience.

Whenever you use our web site, or any other web site, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the Web server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your Internet browser.

We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site except where you have specifically provided us with information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes. An example of this would be when proceeding to a checkout to finalise an order you may wish to make. After completing the form provided, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows us to track your order.

Security Policy

When purchasing from Ajays Catering Cuisine your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology.128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard. Guaranteed Quotation

Once you have discussed your brief, the AJAYS team will develop a quotation for you based on your individual requirements. This written quotation will clearly outline all costs and inclusions and will remain valid for 30 days from date of issue. Once you accept the quotation, AJAY’S Catering Cuisine guarantees, that if you don’t change the brief, the quoted prices will not change.

Confirmation

To confirm your booking we will require signed and approved abbreviated terms and conditions along with 30% deposit of the total estimated function cost.

However, if venues and other items are booked on your behalf a larger deposit may be required.

Final Numbers & Payment

At AJAYS a guaranteed minimum number of guests is required 5 working days prior to your function. This will form the basis of you account. Full payment will be required at this time made payable with cheque, cash or credit card.

Please note, there are no refunds available should there be a reduction in final numbers after the 5 day cut off period. Any subsequent changes are payable at the conclusion of your function.

Cancellation and Refund policy

We share your disappointment if you are unable to proceed with your function. Should this occur, the following guidelines apply:

1. If written notification of cancellation is received more than 60 days prior to the function date, AJAYS Catering Cuisine will refund your deposit in full, less 10% of the deposit as an administration fee.

2. If written notification of cancellation is received between 21-60 days prior to the function date AJAYS Catering Cuisine will refund 50% of your deposit.

3. If written notification of cancellation is received less than 21 days prior to the function date, AJAYS Catering Cuisine will not refund your deposit.

Labour

Should your menu or catering package not include service staff they will be charged at $31.50 per staff member per hour based on a four hour minimum. Supplements may apply for weekend staff hours.

Damages

Organizers are financially responsible for any loss sustained by AJAY’S Catering Cuisine, their guests and other contractors including damage to the premises, its fittings, equipment and grounds of any venue.

Bond

If a bond is required by AJAYS Catering Cuisine this will be payable prior to the event and will be refunded to the client within 14 days of the function, less any reasonable costs for cleaning, rubbish removal or damage.

Loss of Property

AJAYS Catering Cuisine will not accept any responsibility for any damage or loss of property left on the premises prior, during or after the function. We are very pleased to provide cloak room facilities at the cost of $42.50 per hour per 100 guests.

Delivery Policy

Ajays takes pleasure in the prompt refrigerated delivery of your order.

There is no charge for delivery of orders over a total value of $100.00 to the Melbourne CBD area, between the hours of 7.00am and 6.00pm weekdays.

Delivery of orders under a total value of $100.00 or outside of these hours or Melbourne CBD may attract a delivery fee.
